Erik Jekabson is a San Francisco Bay Area-based composer, arranger, and trumpet player known for leading the Erik Jekabson String-tet, a chamber jazz ensemble that explores orchestral textures and classical instruments within a jazz context. The String-tet showcases Jekabson's deep affinity for Duke Ellington and Gil Evans, blending jazz sensibilities with string-based arrangements.

Jackie Ryan is an acclaimed jazz vocalist known for her powerful 3.5-octave range and versatile interpretations spanning bebop, blues, ballads, and Latin jazz. Born in San Francisco to a Mexican mother and Irish father, both professional singers, she has performed internationally at prestigious venues including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and major jazz festivals, collaborating with jazz greats such as Clark Terry, Toots Thielemans, and Cyrus Chestnut.
