Marcus Miller is a two-time Grammy Award-winning bassist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer born in Brooklyn in 1959. He has played on over 500 recordings and is renowned for his work with Miles Davis (including producing the landmark album Tutu), Luther Vandross, and numerous other jazz and R&B artists. Beyond his session work, Miller has established a prolific solo career and composed scores for over 20 films, while maintaining an active touring schedule.
