Joel Behrman

Joel Behrman is a Bay Area-based trumpeter and composer who grew up in the St. Louis jazz tradition. After earning his music degree from the University of Miami and relocating to San Francisco in 2000, he became a mainstay of the local jazz scene, performing with notable artists including Jimmy Cobb, Chris Potter, Helen Sung, and Sheila E, while also maintaining a career in popular music with acts like Phillip Phillips and K.C. and the Sunshine Band.
