Jack Nissen is a versatile bassist based in the New York metro area with over 13 years of experience performing in jazz, rock, funk, and soul genres. He has worked with accomplished musicians including Randy Brecker, Jeff Hamilton, and Terell Stafford, and studied under renowned teachers Robert Hurst and Ron Carter. In addition to performing his own traditionally-based original compositions, Nissen is an active educator and composer.
