Garth Stevenson

Garth Stevenson is a virtuoso double bassist and composer raised in Western Canada whose music is deeply inspired by the natural world. Known for his cinematic solo work using loops and effects, he has performed his 150-year-old bass in remote locations from Antarctica to deserts, and has notably played for humpback whales in collaboration with conservation efforts. He is also an accomplished film composer who has scored major films including Bob Marley: One Love, Tracks, and Chappaquiddick.
