Eric Wheeler

Eric Wheeler is a jazz bassist born and raised in Washington, D.C., who has toured and recorded with notable artists including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Theo Croker, Cyrus Chestnut, Pharoah Sanders, and Roy Hargrove. A graduate of Howard University's Jazz Studies program and adjunct professor of double and electric bass at VCU, Wheeler is based in Brooklyn and has been part of Wynton Marsalis's Jazz for Young People Program since 2012.
